1) M is a young friend i met about three years ago on internet. she's observant, philosophical, and writes well. later i found out that her parents and i went to the same primary and high school and were a few years my junior. M is wise for her age and often says things that i haven't observed or thought about, or things i've observed but not been able to put in words as well as she can. and again today she said something that made me want to take my hat off to her..."家教是學不來的". she's the only person under 30 i know that i can have a meaningful conversation or discussion with, and even learn a thing or two from sometimes. 2) if you think you are a chinese, make sure you know October first is not the birthday of your motherland. it's the birthday of an evil empire established in China. your motherland is China, not the evil empire. many can't tell the difference.
